Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows Alumni Association, Nigeria (COSFAN) has congratulated her Patron, His Excellency Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, CON, on his new appointment as the Chief of Staff to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a statement issued by it’s president, Dr. Abiola Adimula, described the new Chief of Staff as dynamic, highly intelligent, a leader par excellence, an accomplished Diplomat and a seasoned administrator, who has contributed immensely to national development and has displayed impressive and commendable representation of the country at the global community.
“Prof Ibrahim Gambari, the new Chief of Staff is a dynamic, highly intelligent, leader par excellence, an accomplished Diplomat and a seasoned administrator. He has contributed immensely to national development with impressive and commendable representation of the country at the global community”, Adimula stressed.
In goodwill message, the Chairman of COSFAN Board of Trustees, Prof. Olugbemiro Jegede (Founding Vice Chancellor of National Open University), also described the appointment of Prof. Gambari as the right peg in the right hole.
In their own comments, the COSFAN Advisers, Emeritus Prof. Michael Omolewa, former Nigeria Representative to UNESCO and Prof. Comfort Ekpo, former Vice Chancellor of University of Uyo, commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the appointment, affirming that it is a well deserved appointment that should move the nation forward, based on the impressive antecedents of the new Chief of Staff.
