Journalists urged to stay healthy as NOA Chapel of NUJ concludes 2019 Press Week

The need for media practitioners to pay close attention to their health and adopt healthy practices has been emphasized.

Emphasising this was Mallam Umar Abdulwahab, the Chairman, NUJ Kwara while receiving members of the NOA Chapel at the Press centre, during an health walk to mark the end of the 2019 press week on Monday, in Ilorin.

The health walk, which had in attendance Mr Olusegun Adeyemi, the NOA State Director took members from the Federal Secretariat, Fate road to the NUJ Press Centre at Offa road.

Mallam Umar Abdulwahab further urged journalists across the country to engage in exercises since they help to eliminate diseases from our body systems .

While speaking, Mr Olusegun Adeyemi commended the Kwara NUJ for influencing the Federal government’s decision, through the Lower River Niger Basin authority to create a borehole within the secretariat of NUJ in the state.

Earlier, while speaking, the Chairman of the chapel, comrade Ajibade Adegbayibi thanked the State chairman of NUJ for receiving and always supporting members of the chapel.
