As parts of efforts to increase awareness on strategies to prevent outbreak of diseases, especially in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, a non governmental organization, Synergy Volunteers has taken the campaign for improved personal hygiene to Leah Children Reception Home, Ilorin.
The organization also donated books, food stuffs and other useful items to the Home.
At the event, Director of Operations, RAO Synergy Integrated Global Services, Mr Raphael Adeyemi advised the children to always maintain personal hygiene, wash their hands with soap and water as well as keep their surroundings clean.
Mr Adeyemi also advised the children to be dedicated to their studies, keep hope alive and keep praying for a healthy and better society.
He also appealed to members of the society to increase efforts at reaching out to the needy in order to make life meaningful for all.
In a remark, Coordinator of the Home, Miss Blessing Ayodele thanked Synergy Volunteers for their kind gesture and affirmed that the visit had created a sense of belonging in the children.
